The majority of the postings I have seen on this site are cars with no placards or handicapped parking plates. This is not fraud it is a blantant violation of the handicapped parking laws as is in most cases parking on the lined off blue areas so that vans,etc. can load & unload.

We stopped at Rural King in Effingham, Illinois this week. I'm handicapped and needed to use the restroom. Parked in the handicapped spaces (all were taken) was an outfit offering kids rides on a reindeer. They claimed they were parked there by store permission and had purchased the space. Kids are quite capable of walking. Why not offer the rides in another area of the parking lot?

I am grateful that the Eastlake Walmart has a least 20 handicapped spots, however, I wish the Eastlake cops would do their job of watching the handicapped parkers. The city is broke and if the cops would have someone patrol the handicapped parking are; they could bring in big bucks to the city. I make this store as the only place I really shop. I am a disabled Columbus, OH resident. The Condo I live in marked a parking spot especially for me right infront of my unit. Most of the people who live in the development are respectful and do not park in my spot. This evening I came home to find someone parked in my spot. I do not remember the year that we started the handicapped zones in the US, but I feel the do gooders that pushed it through our various congresses really didn’t do their homework, as to just how it was to work. Police in shreveport Louisiana completely ignore the idiots who violate handicapped parking. Why have handicaped parking, if no tickets will be issued. I think they should enfore them with extremely harsh fines, or do away with the handicapped parking , and all other handicapped programs.......

A very sweet lady lives in our condo complex. Her granddaughter & the granddaughter's boyfriend live with her and care for her. The boyfriend is a very thoughtless, inconsiderate troublemaker. you people have nothing better to do then going around parking lots and following people.... isn't there some kind of law against taking pictures of peopls vehicles and writing down liscense plate numbers and posting them on the internet???? if you dumbasses that posted us on here would've looked any closer to our care you would've found a placard in our window it is very valid (...)
